Community Schools Facility Monitors
Duties: Provide general building supervision and security during Community Education sponsored programs, activities, and rental events. Assure that areas are locked or unlocked as appropriate. Assist instructors/renters with information, room set-up, and other assistance as needed. Assist the public with information and provide directions and other assistance as needed. Work with audio/visual equipment/computers as necessary. Perform other duties as assigned. Part-Time - Casual hrs as needed Rate of Pay: $15.00 /hour on weekdays;$16.00/hour on weekends.Community School Coaches
Coaches work with middle school participants enrolled in community education programs. Help promote skill development, teamwork, leadership, social growth, sportsmanship, positive reinforcement, and respect for others in a safe and positive environment. Duties include: Develop and deliver instruction to youth participants (grades 6-8) enrolled in Anoka-Hennepin Community Schools middle school athletic programs. Provide coaching and activity or service ranging from introductory to advanced levels. Deliver and collect participant feedback, when requested. Perform other duties as assigned. Rate of pay is $17.00-$23.95/hour.Community School Assistant Coaches
Assistant coaches work with middle school participants enrolled in community education programs. Help promote skill development, teamwork, leadership, social growth, sportsmanship, positive reinforcement, and respect for others in a safe and positive environment. Duties include: Assist in any general prep work for athletics activities. Assist coach in demonstrating activities, scorekeeping, and timing. Provide positive reinforcement for youth engaged in activities. Follow athletic policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Rate of pay: $14.00-$18.00/hour.Community School Instructors
Instructors work with elementary and middle school participants enrolled in community education programs. Provide instructions for activities and services, skill development, teamwork, leadership, social growth, positive reinforcement, and respect for others in a safe and positive environment. Duties include: Develop and deliver curriculum or services to students (youth participants and/or adults) enrolled in the Anoka-Hennepin Community School Program. Provide instruction and activity or service in subject matter, ranging from introductory to advanced levels. Deliver and collect participant feedback, when requested. Perform other duties as assigned. Part-Time - Casual hrs as needed (Hours can be afterschool, evening, weekends, and non-school days.) Rate of Pay: $12.00-$22.55/hour for Instructors.Community School Assistant Instructors
Assistant Instructors work with elementary and middle school participants enrolled in community education programs. Provide instructions for activities and services, skill development, teamwork, leadership, social growth, positive reinforcement, and respect for others in a safe and positive environment. Duties include: Greet participants, community partners during the check-in and pickup times, explains program logistics and provide directions. Assist in any general prep work for activities, including set-up and put away games and supplies as directed by Instructor. Assist Instructor in presenting activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Part-Time - Casual hrs as needed (Hours can be afterschool, evening, weekends, and non-school days.) Rate of Pay: $11.25-$11.75/hour.
