What is the Hygiene Hub?

The Hygiene Hub is an in-school resource to help all RMS students and families in times of economic distress meet the hygiene needs of their family.  The Hub is located in room 133.5.  The following items can be found at the Hygiene Hub (pending donations):

  • Shampoo/Conditioner
  • Soap
  • Toothpaste/Mouthwash/Floss
  • Deodorant
  • Feminine Products
  • Body spray/perfume

What is the Snack Shack?

The Snack Shack is an in-school resource to help all RMS students and families in times of economic distress to provide easy, non-perishable after school snacks middle schoolers can prepare themselves.  The Shack is located in room 133.5.  The following items can be found in the Snack Shack (pending donations):

  • Granola Bars
  • Fruit Snacks
  • Easy Mac
  • Soup-at-Hand
  • Trail Mix
  • Snack Cakes
  • Pretzels
  • Popcorn
  • Juice Boxes

Additional help for students and families

Free or reduced price lunch: If you would like to determine if your child is eligible for free/reduced lunches, or if you have further questions, please call the Child Nutrition Office at Roosevelt Middle School (506-5811).

Listed below are some resources that are available to Anoka County residents

Holiday help

Christmas Committee: Families and individuals in need who live in the cities of Anoka County are eligible for help with holiday gifts. Application forms are available on Nov. 1. Application forms must be mailed in by December 1st. You may pick up an application at the ACBC Food Shelf in Anoka- 2615 9th Ave.

In early November, RMS will also mail out holiday help applications to many of our families.  Our generous staff and faith partner churches provide gifts and baskets. If you would like to receive this application please contact Robin Burge-Ross (763-506-6758) or Nicki Magaard  (763-506-5821) no later than November 15.
