Brooklyn Bridge Alliance for Youth event
Description
Brooklyn Bridge Alliance for Youth hosting public conversation about providing students a well-rounded education
In order to understand what Minnesotans want to see in public schools, the Brooklyn Bridge Alliance for Youth needs to hear from the public.
The Anoka-Hennepin community is invited to a public conversation on the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) that will also feature Minnesota Department of Education Commissioner Brenda Cassellius. The event will be held at 10 a.m. on Feb. 25, at Brooklyn Center High School.
Ensuring all students have access to a well-rounded education is a core principle of ESSA, and while the law gives the public a starting point, we look forward to continuing to engage in dialogue with parents, educators and students as we shape a vision for what a well-rounded education means in Minnesota.
