Ten Anoka-Hennepin students named Triple 'A' Award nominees
Ten Anoka-Hennepin seniors have been named nominees for the state Triple “A” Awards, which recognize students who excel in academics, athletics and the arts.
One boy and one girl representing all five of Anoka-Hennepin’s traditional high schools were named as nominees by the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) for the award.
The nominees:
Established in 1988, the MSHSL’s Triple A Award recognizes excellence in academics, arts, and athletics, and is for students who have a B or better grade point average and who participate in league-sponsored athletic and fine arts activities.

- Andover High School: Alysse DeFoe and Ben Johnson.
- Anoka High School: Alyssa Wicks and Samuel Skoglund.
- Blaine High School: Chrystal Moon and Niklas Schaaf.
- Champlin Park High School: Allyson Gerards and Luke Crandall.
- Coon Rapids High School: Kayla Thoen and David Wiser.
