Anoka High School’s BPA to host ‘Letters from Home’ show to benefit school’s Sharing and Caring Fund
Anoka High School’s Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter is sponsoring an entertaining theater performance in June to support the Anoka Caring and Sharing Fund, which supports students and parents in need at the school.
On June 3, at 7 p.m. in the Anoka High School auditorium, the school’s BPA chapter will present “Letters From Home,” which travels the country, honoring our nation's veterans, active military heroes, and their families by reviving Patriotism through music.
Letters From Home has a local flavor, too. The show features director, creator and choreographer Erin Diaz along with Coon Rapids native actress/performer Courtney Groves.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased from 2:30 to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Anoka High School box office located inside the main entrance to the school. Tickets can also be purchased by email request at lettersfromhomeanokahs@gmail.com or online at ahslettersfromhome.brownpapertickets.com.
The spirit and style of this 1940's themed show includes their incredible singing harmonies, charming personalities, and phenomenal energized tap dancing. According to the Anoka High School BPA, “they will have you rolling in the aisles with laughter while reviving your patriotic passion.”
Learn more about Letters From Home on their website. For additional information and questions about the show, call 763-506-6399. Because this is a fundraiser for Anoka Caring and Sharing, no district passes or discounts will be honored.
