Andover High School holds annual multicultural showcase
(05/18/2023) Andover High School held its annual multicultural showcase event May 16. Students performed three times during the school day, and once in the evening for community members and parents/guardians. Students performed traditional dances and sang songs representing a number of nationalities during the event.

Parent Attitude and Satisfaction Survey available online until June 16
(05/12/2023) The input of parents and guardians is valuable in helping improve the district’s service to students and families. Parents and guardians of students in Anoka-Hennepin have the opportunity to provide opinions on the schools their children attend in the annual Parent Attitude and Satisfaction Survey.

Andover High School senior Eleanor Fredine named a National Merit Scholar
(05/10/2023) Andover High School senior Eleanor Fredine and Coon Rapids High School - Center for Biomedical Sciences and Engineering senior Jesse Co have earned one of the top honors for graduating seniors, being named National Merit Scholars on May 10 by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC®).

District participation in the Summer Food Service Program makes meals available to children at select school sites
(06/02/2023) The Anoka-Hennepin School District will participate in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), which  provides meals to all children 18 and under, free of charge. Meals will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, at 14 sites across the district. The program will start Thursday, June 15 at most sites.

District to close Monday, June 19, 2023 in observance of Juneteenth holiday
(05/31/2023) Anoka-Hennepin Schools will be closed on Monday, June 19, 2023, in observance of the Juneteenth state holiday. The decision follows legislation passed into law by the Minnesota Legislature in late May during the most recent legislative session.

Live coverage and facility information for upcoming high school graduation ceremonies
(05/18/2023) Anoka-Hennepin will hold graduation ceremonies for Andover, Blaine, Champlin Park and Coon Rapids high schools Sunday, June 4 at Maturi Pavilion on the University of Minnesota campus. Anoka High School will hold its graduation ceremony Monday, June 5, at Goodrich Field.
