Welcome to math. In 2019/20 I am teaching both 8th grade algebra and 8th grade honors geometry at Roosevelt Middle school and advanced math and honors geometry at Coon Rapids Middle school.
I am a graduate from Georgia Southern University with BS in Secondary Math Education. I also have a MaEd from Hamline University. This will be my 23nd year of teaching and my 5th year teaching in Anoka Hennepin. I have 3 kids also in the district, I have a 9th, 8th and 6th grader.
Outside of being a math teacher I am crazy with my own children's activities. I look forward to watching my students learn and explore with all of the fun activities we have planned. Don't hesitate to contact me with questions or comments. rebecca.defoe@ahschools.us
