Welcome! I have been teaching in the Anoka-Hennepin district since 1996. I taught at the elementary level for 11 years before moving to middle school in 2007. I really enjoy working with students at this level! I received my Bachelors Degree from St. Cloud State University, my Masters Degree from St. Mary's University - Winona and spent a year at Hamline focusing on literacy. There's nothing I enjoy more than helping students develop a love of reading! I have three children ages 17, 15 and 12. As a family, we love to travel and spend a lot of our time around water - either boating or swimming. I also enjoy reading, camping and gardening.
