Hi!
My name is Mr. Kevin Cipperly, I primarily teach Earth Science (advanced and Regular) to 8th graders.
Trivia question: How long has Oakview Middle School been open? When you have the answer you know how long I have been teaching at OVMS. Prior to Oakview Middle school I taught at Sandburg Middle school (now merged as ASA....Anoka school of the Arts) and Northdale "Junior High" in Coon Rapids. My career as a teacher has all happened in Anoka-Hennepin where I was also a student.
Teaching Earth Science fits well with my interests because if it involves outdoors I probably love it.
I have enjoyed every group of students I have had the pleasure of teaching. After teaching 25 years I try to live by the motto: "I have enjoyed all 25 experiences" rather than "I have enjoyed the same experience 25 times". I look forward to meeting you as an incoming student and I truly enjoy sharing new stories with past students as well. So welcome all!
