Anoka Middle School for the Arts' Thespian Society
Join a theater organization with connections around the world! AMSA’s Thespian troupe produces their own show, provides social opportunities, goes on theater field trips and other fun theater related events.
What is the Thespian Society?
An international organization that recognizes exceptional experience, commitment or excellence in an artist’s work in theater.
Allows members to connect with theater students around the world through Discussion Boards on their website www.edta.org and attendance at optional festivals.
Students become an “Apprentice Thespian” after filling out an application form and earning at least 1 point from their work on or in productions (beginning the summer after their 5th grade year). A student becomes an “official Thespian” after receiving 10 points.
