    Workroom- All Year
There is a constant flow of projects that come through our workroom.  They include copying, laminating and cutting.  These can be done basically any time during the day.  I would love to have at least one volunteer in each day but the frequency of your shift is totally up to you- once a week, once or twice a month...every little bit helps :)

Destination Imagination Interest - After School Club
Destination Imagination promotes creative problem-solving, team-building and leadership skills by encouraging students to build on their natural strengths and discover skills they may not realize they possess.  Students work together during the season to solve their choice of one of six competitive challenges.  The team then presents their rehearsed or improvisational solution in a 5 to 8 minute performance and solves an Instant Challenge (on-the-spot creative challenge) at one of the Regional Tournaments held across Minnesota in February and March.  We are looking for students to participate as well as one one or two Team Managers to volunteer their time.

There will be a Parent Informational Meeting on Wednesday, January 15th at 4:15 p.m. in the Hoover Library

Lego Club/Lego Robotics Interest - After School
Hoover is interested in finding students who have an interest in participating in an after school Lego Club/Lego Robotics Club, as well as finding parents to volunteer their time to facilitate this activity.  We've heard from parents that students are interested but now need to plan logistics to make this happen for our kids.  Please reach out to me asap with any interest and/or questions/concerns.  Stay tuned for more details to come.

    Girls On The Run
Girls on the run is coming again this Spring to Hoover!  Last year we had a great turn-out and we are hoping for the same this Spring.  Please stay tuned for more information coming after the holiday break.  We will need to recruit several parent volunteers for head/assistant coaching (will require training) for this fun and inspiring 10 week program.  Please reach out to Minh Strusz with any interest ASAP. Stay Tuned!
