Why I love teaching my IB course: The Kids are fun and motivated. Since it's an honors level course I can push and challenge them and they rise to the challenge! I will also have the same students for two years so it's a wonderful opportunity to get to know them, build relationships and see them improve in Spanish.

    Why you love teaching IB:
This is my second year teaching in the IB program and I am really enjoying it.  I like how the program encourages students to look at things from different points of view and challenges them to become citizens of the world.
What you hear people say after they’ve taken your course:
My students say they feel that they have a better understanding of how German-speaking people feel about events happening around the world.
    Best academic advice to students:
Speak German as much as possible inside and outside of class and always challenge yourself to think about things from different points of view.
Favorite thing to do besides teach IB:
I live on four acres in the woods and I enjoy being outside.  I love to watch soccer and spend many weekends watching the English Premiere League.
