Anoka Children's Theatre
The Anoka Children's Theatre (ACT) was conceived in January 1990, when twenty Anoka-area elementary and middle school students rehearsed and performed "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" at Wilson Community School.
Since that very first show, ACT has continued to grow and enrich the lives of actors and the community. Cast size has ranged from 20-52, and audiences have grown from 100 to over 3,000 patrons, performing a wide variety of plays and musicals. ACT will continue to provide Anoka-Hennepin Schools students in grades four through eight an opportunity to be part of a live theatrical experience where they rehearse, learn and perform to the delight of themselves as well as their audiences.
