• PSAT 2018 GENERAL INFORMATION:  

    On October 10, 2018 10th grades in the top 5% of their class and 11th graders in the top 10% of their class  will have the opportunity to take the optional PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test).  This is a practice college entrance test (similar to the ACT and SAT) and allows juniors to compete for National Merit Scholarships (for 10th graders, it is merely a practice exam and they can take again as 11th graders).

    DEADLINE AND REGISTRATION INFORMATION: 

    The deadline to register is Wednesday, September 12 by 8:00AM The permission form and $18 payment can be returned to the Counseling Office. Students with demonstrated financial need may be eligible for a fee waiver. Upon registering, students will be given a PSAT Student Guide to help in preparing for the exam.We will be testing off site this year at Sandburg Center due to space and construction constraints at CRHS.  This is an OPTIONAL test. 

     

    ADDITIONAL TESTING INFORMATION:  

    The PSAT is an OPTIONAL test.  Our school also offers additional FREE testing to students.  On October 8, 2018 we will giving a FREE practice ACT to all students in grades 10 and 11 during the school day.  All juniors will have the opportunity to take the actual ACT for FREE on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 during the school day.
