My name is Becca Michaelson and I am the music specialist at Madison and CBPA Schools. It is my fifth year of teaching at Madison Elementary and my seventh year of teaching, overall.
When I am not teaching music, I am frequently playing flute with my community band or in pit orchestras for musicals. I enjoy digital painting, reading, watching hockey, and Irish dancing. I am also continuing my own musical education by taking lessons for the fiddle at the Center for Irish Music.
As a musician whose life has been forever altered by music classes, I hope to give my students the necessary skills to pursue a lifelong enjoyment of music and music-making.
I look forward to working with your child this year. Thank you for supporting your student's musical education!
