"School's Out" - Non-school day activities coordinated by Community Schools
Youth programs and services provide more than just education or entertainment - they contribute to a safe and healthy community by providing young people with engaging activities they help them learn and grow!
Anoka-Hennepin Community Education coordinates classes and activities for students in kindergarten through grade eight after-school, in the evening, on the weekends and over the summer months. In addition, unique field trips and all-day activities are coordinated on non-school days to enhance academic and social experiences for students while they are out of school.
"School's Out" trips and activities are supervised and led by trained coaches, licensed teachers or knowledgeable staff who emphasize and encourage participation and respect for others. Our team is currently working to coordinate "School's Out" activities on the following non-school days for the 2019-20 school year.
- Tue., Feb. 18: Airmaxx Trampoline Park and Swim!
- Tue., Mar. 3: Grand Slam and a Movie (Registration opens soon!)
Fri., Apr. 10: Minnesota Zoo (Registration opens soon!)

Past popular activities and trips have included cooking camps, robotics and computer programming classes, art projects, recreational swimming; or visits to trampoline parks, museums, movie theatres, the Minnesota Zoo and Eveland Family Farm.
