• My name is Stefan Wolf and I am currently in my sixth year teaching K-5 music in the Anoka-Hennepin school district.  I was at Adams Elementary in Coon Rapids for the last five years.  I live in Osseo, MN with my wife, daughter,  and cats and grew up in the northern suburbs.  When I'ḿ not teaching music, I enjoy running, hiking, biking, playing drums in my band, and being a huge sports fan. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to start building the music program at Brookside.  In addition to my work as a K-5 music specialist, I direct the children's choir at my church in Minneapolis as well as play drum set in my own punk rock band, Linus.   I firmly believe that every student has the ability to be a musician but just needs to be given the opportunity and the structure to learn the necessary skills, the first of these being musical literacy.  I am a musician myself and hope to teach my students these skills so they can go on to a lifelong pursuit and enjoyment of music and music-making.
