• Field trips

    Field trips are scheduled as part of the non-school day and summer care curriculum. Adventures Plus contracts with the Anoka-Hennepin School District transportation companies to provide transportation to and from each field trip destination.

    Non-school days

    Children in attendance on non-school days are required to participate in field trips. Parents/guardians are notified in advance of field trip dates, destinations and expected times of departure and return. It is especially important that families arrive on site with adequate time before the scheduled field trip departure. Field trip admissions are included in non-school day fees. There is no need for families to send additional money with their child.


    Summer is a fun break from the school year and Adventures Plus strives to make each week exciting with on-site activities and off-site field trips. All children are provided an Adventures Plus t-shirt to wear on all field trips for quick identification when exploring new places. Field trip costs are included in the child care fee for the summer. An additional fee applies for Peak Adventures, the summer care program for children entering grades six through eight in the fall.

    Adventures Plus reserves the right to cancel or change any field trip dates due to inclement weather for your child's health and safety.
