RatesAdventures Plus school age child care offers quality, in-school child care at prices that are competitive with child care providers in the area. There are a variety of child care options for your child. Choose from before-school care, after-school care and all-day care on school release days.
FeesFamilies are charged fees based upon their child care agreement, not actual attendance. This includes when the child is not in attendance due to illness, personal reasons and inclement weather. The family is responsible for all charges that are incurred, as well as all fees outlined in the parent handbook. A family registration fee is required each season (summer and school year).
Payment may be made by check, cash, money order, bank account or credit/debit card. To pay fees by credit card, please call the Adventures Plus billing office. Payments are not accepted at the child care sites. Payment is due on the first of each month, for the current month. Late payment fees are applied on the 16th of each month. Failure to pay by the end of the month will result in termination from the Adventures Plus child care program.
PaymentWhen a payment is declined due to non-sufficient funds (NSF), it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to replace the payment in cash, money order, certified check or credit card upon notification. Failure to do so may result in termination of child care services. NSF checks may require future payments to be made by money order or certified check and may result in a termination of services.
Late pick-up feeFamilies must pick-up their child by 6 p.m. If you pick-up your child after 6 p.m., families will be assessed a late fee of $5 per child for every 15 minutes or fraction thereof after 6 p.m. The fee will be billed to your account on your next invoice. If families are more than 30 minutes late and staff have not heard from the parent/guardian or successfully reached a person listed on your child's emergency contact form, the police will be contacted for assistance. Continued late pick-up may result in termination of child care services.
Program fundingParent/guardian fees fund the Adventures Plus school age child care program, which is coordinated by the Anoka-Hennepin Community Education department.
