• Jackson Middle School is beginning a journey focused on maintaining and improving its partnerships with families and community. We have chosen to become one of the schools in the Anoka-Hennepin School District that are part of a nation-wide network of schools promoting community partnerships.

One of the components of this journey to becoming a partnership school is to establish a diverse action team comprised of staff, parents, and community members.

The purpose of the action team is to:
    • Sustain and improve family and community connections that support student success at home, at school, and in the community.
    • Explore new and innovative ideas for partnering with families and the community.
    • Explore goals that involve the entire community and assist JMS students in their achievement and success in school and life.
    • Work with a national network of schools, districts, and states, who are all striving to develop partnerships that help students succeed.
