Superintendent search

Superintendent Search

The School Board has selected Hazard, Young, and Attea (HYA), a national consulting firm, to assist in the search for the next superintendent for the Anoka-Hennepin Schools. The board named Greg Cole the superintendent on May 13, 2026.

Stakeholder input

An important step forward in selecting the next superintendent of schools for the district is forming a leadership profile based on stakeholder input to identify qualities and characteristics the School Board should consider when evaluating applicants. As part of forming this guiding document, the School Board worked to collect feedback through meetings and stakeholder surveys of parents/guardians, community members, business leaders, students and employees April 20-May 1.

A district leadership profile incorporating stakeholder input was shared at the Special School Board meeting scheduled Monday, May 11.
