Many Anoka-Hennepin staff members go above and beyond normal job expectations to ensure that students receive a high quality education in a safe and nurturing environment.
The Above & Beyond Awards involve students, staff, parents and community members in recognizing and rewarding Anoka-Hennepin employees — teachers, secretaries, cooks, paras, custodians and others — who consistently go that extra mile so students can be successful.This program is a joint effort of the district and the Anoka-Hennepin Educational Foundation (AHEF).How to nominate
Anyone — students, parents, staff or community members can nominate a deserving candidate.To do so, fill out the nomination form electronically by Friday, Feb. 7, 2020.
Eligibility
All part- and full-time employees of district are eligible. Nominations of a group or department will be considered. Staff who have already received an Above & Beyond Award are no longer eligible (past winners noted on the sidebar).
Application process
Nominees are notified and then asked to complete an application. Employees must complete the application process to be considered for an award.
Selection process
A panel of staff and community members will review nomination and application forms and select winners.
Awards
Each winner will be recognized with an award at a ceremony. The 2020 ceremony will be Wednesday, April 8.Need more information?
