Parents of district Latino students participate in program to strengthen relationships with schools
(03/12/2021) Over the last three months, English Language (EL) Latino parents have attended seven virtual sessions to participate in Education: Our Best Legacy, a program aimed at strengthening the interaction and partnerships between parents/guardians and their students and their students’ schools.

Two district educators named semifinalists for Minnesota Teacher of the Year award
(03/11/2021) Of the four Anoka-Hennepin educators named candidates to be named 2021 Minnesota Teacher of the Year, two have been named semifinalists.

As a math and science specialty school, students engage in a wide range of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) opportunities, which provide relevant connections between classes. In 2020, CBPA received an Excellence Award from Magnet Schools of America.
