Michelle Butkus is a native of Medford, Wisconsin a small town that is home of Tombstone Pizza! Go Pack Go! She is a graduate of the University of Eau Claire where she majored in Physical Education and minored in Adapted Physical Education. She began playing softball at the young age of 6 where she continued to play softball throughout college, captaining her Eau Claire Blugold team to a NCAA National Championship title in 2008. Michelle has a clear passion for coaching which is something she will continue to be involved in here at Blaine, being the Bengals Head Softball Coach as well as one of the Strength and Conditioning Coaches. When she is not devoting her time to teaching and coaching, you can find Michelle traveling the world with her partner Amanda (Redbull Crashed Ice World Champion), dog Leine, at Crossfit Southpaw or with family on the Lake. A quote Miche likes to live by, is by Michael Jordan, and that is "I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying."
Thank you for supporting your student's education! I am excited to work with your child and watch their growth. Together we can help your child achieve success!
