My name is Cody Brunelle and I am currently in my fourth year of teaching in Minnesota. I taught Kindergarten for the previous three years in Saint Paul, and am looking forward to teaching third grade at Hamilton this year! I received my B.A. in Psychology and Master's in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of the Hamilton family this school year!
In my free time, I enjoy reading, fishing, spending time outdoors, exercising and exploring the cities! During the summers, I try to get i as much traveling as I can. I recently visited my friend in Colorado for a week and was able to enjoy some amazing mountain hiking.
I believe that each student is capable of great things and in empowering them each to hold themselves to high standards and expectations in their schoolwork. I also believe that it is extremely important to focus not only on the academic development of each of my students, but also social, personal and emotional development. In this way it is my goal to foster the development of confident, happy, hard-working and friendly lifelong learners.
Our classroom this year is room 120 in Hamilton Elementary. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns in the following ways:
