Welcome to Mrs. Voxland's Classroom Website
Hello!
I am excited to join the Anoka-Hennepin family this year! This will be my 12th year teaching middle school math.
This year I will travel daily between Oak View Middle School and Northdale Middle School.
I was born and raised in the Twin Cities. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Augsburg College,
and my Master's in Education, Curriculum and Instruction in Mathematics degree from Concordia University. 
I am married and I have 3 children (all adults now). I love live entertainment, especially musicals and concerts! I enjoy watching all of our Minnesota sports teams, and watching my students perform! My husband is from Liberia and together we founded and run a non-profit organization called Help Encourage Liberia's Little Ones (HELLO). Currently, we have several projects in Liberia, and I visit Liberia every June-July. This past summer I worked with at least 10 Liberian children per day (different groups on different days) and we worked on reading, math, and learning how to play games like Scrabble and Cribbage.
I believe that all children (and adults) can learn more and more. It is my privilige to facilitate learning and to learn from your student!
