Welcome to my classroom website
I am excited to begin my journey at McKinley. I have been in the district for three years but this will be my tenth-year teaching. I graduated from University of Minnesota Duluth and received my masters in differentiated instruction from Concordia. I have a kindergartner here at McKinley who is thrilled to be a Bulldog! I also have a chocolate lab named Charlie and a cat named Toby. I enjoy spending time at the cabin fishing, boating, or reading around the campfire.
I will be working as a core support and intervention teaching. Core support is a specialist class in which students practice math, reading, and typing skills. Technology is utilized to enhance student learning in each area. Students in K-5 grade receive core support for 30 minutes each week. This also allows classroom teachers an opportunity to collaborate during the school day. I am excited to get to know the families at McKinley.
Thank you for supporting your student's education! I am excited to work with your child and watch their growth. Together we can help your child achieve success!
