Welcome to my webpage!
My name is Mrs. Archibald and I am an academic support teacher at Adams. This will be my 9th year at Adams, but my 20th year as a teacher. During my career I've had the opportunity to teach second grade, reading recovery, supplemental programs, and literacy intervention. I'm currently working with students in both the literacy intervention and supplemental programs role. I love working with small groups of students. I enjoy getting to know all of my students and helping them to reach their full potential in reading, writing and math. I want all my students to feel confident about their skills and develop a love for learning.
In my spare time I enjoy most any activity that is outdoors. I love to hike, bike, golf, and ski. I have two teenage daughters who also keep me very busy with attending all their sport events. My family loves to bike and visit national parks. Every year we plan on visiting a national park somewhere in the country. We also enjoy taking bike trips on some of the trail systems in Minnesota and Wisconsin. I also enjoy reading. My favorite genres are historical fiction, memoirs, and travel adventures.
I look forward to working with all my students this year.
