My name is Chelsea Kosel and I will be your student’s homeroom teacher and/or Humanities teacher. I am beyond excited to work with you and your student this year! As a teacher I believe that the home to school connection should be seen as a partnership to help your student succeed. I enjoy finding different teaching strategies to reach each learner and to keep students engaged and excited to learn. The most important piece of advice I have for your student is to not be afraid to ask questions; chances are someone else is waiting for the same question to be answered. I want your student to love learning and take advantage of it. I am here to teach, challenge, and most of all encourage your student to be the best they can be.

This is my 8th year teaching and I love what I do! I’m a former Anoka Hennepin student graduating from Coon Rapids High School. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls with a degree in Elementary Education and received my Masters in Curriculum from Concordia - St. Paul. My husband, Joe, and I are parents to our son in heaven, Ronan Joseph, and our two fur babies, Bode and Zoe. We love to travel, try new foods, and go on hiking adventures with our dogs.
