Welcome to 5BU Website. My name is Kim Burton. I have been teaching at Jefferson Elementary for 17 years. I first taught Title, then 3rd grade, and now 5th grade for my 8th year. I previously taught 5th grade at Ellsworth AFB near Rapid City, SD, and on Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan (where I also met my husband). I was born in Iowa and grew up in South Dakota. I now live in Champlin, MN, with my husband, Curt. We have three lovely daughters, all grown up.

Due to the late lunch, students may bring a morning snack (no candy).
