    Thank you for supporting your student's education! Welcome to First Grade! I have worked at Oxbow Creek since 1990. Prior to teaching at Oxbow Creek, I taught at Monroe Elementary in the Anoka Hennepin District.  My teaching career began in Northwest Georgia teaching 1st through 6th Grade. Most of my career since then (and in the Anoka-Hennepin School District)  has been based in first grade with my Master's degree emphasizing Early Childhood Education.
    I am excited to work with your child and watch their growth. Together we can help your child achieve success!

    First Grade eats lunch from 12:00-12:25.
    Recess is directly after lunch from 12:25-12:50.  Students should be prepared for outdoor play each day.
    We also have a brief snack time in the late afternoon each day.  Healthy snacks should be sent from home.
