Welcome to our Classroom Website
Hi, I am Diane Dietz! Welcome to my webpage.
I received my teaching degree from St. Cloud State and my masters degree from Nova Southeastern University. I have taught 30 + years, all in the Anoka-Hennepin District. I have taught grades 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. I taught at Johnsville Elementary for my first 16 years and the rest here at Rum River Elementary.
I live in Ham Lake with my husband Kevin. We have two grown children and they are both teachers also. My son, Erik, teaches industrial technology at Hastings High School and my daughter, Chelsey, is on leave currently from teaching art at Northdale Middle School. My husband I enjoy fishing and spending time with the kids. We have one grandson, Rylan, and two granddaughters Annika and Adeline.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you have. I want to make this a great year for your child - one filled with learning, friendships and fun. I also want to make sure they are prepared for the school years ahead and that means we work hard on being organized and responsible this year. This is the year to make those a priority for the kids. I know they can do it, with all of us working together we can help make it happen.
Thank you for supporting your student's education! I am excited to work with your child and watch their growth. Together we can help your child achieve success!
