Welcome to Anoka High School’s Special Education Lead Website
We have many services offered to special education students. My role is to help coordinate services with student’s parents, case manager, guidance counselor, and administration.
A bit about me… I have been teaching for about 25 years and stared in this district 15 years ago. Prior to that, I taught in Staples, MN, Hawaii, and Mahtomedi, MN. I have a wide range of teaching experiences working with pre-kindergarten through high school, and severely impaired through mildly disabled. I have teaching licenses in Early Childhood, MSMI, MMI, SLD, EBD, and Reading Specialist. My husband and I have five children, two son in-laws, one daughter in-law, and one granddaughter. We live in the area and have many interests in the community.
Thank you for supporting your student’s education. It’s a joy to see the progress made at the high school level. Our goal is to prepare students for a successful future. Please feel free to call, or email with questions, or concerns.
