• Welcome To 8th Grade ELA

    My name is Laura McQuiston.  I teach both regular and advanced ELA 8 at Northdale.  FOr 17 years I have been a teacher but have worked for the Anoka Hennepin School District for 15.  I live in Minneapolis with my husband, two boys and 2 granddaughters.  I love to write and have a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Hamline University.  I am also a poetry editor for Redbird Press.  After school, I co-direct the fall play, edit & publish Kaleidoscope (NMS literary and art journal 2 per year), facilitate “Writer’s Breakfast” which will start in January.  I look forward to getting to know all of you during the 2019-2020 school year.
