This is my fourth year teaching at Northdale Middle School. I have taught 7th grade and 8th grade, and this school year I am happy to be teaching 8th grade Language Arts. I am a Coon Rapids High School alumni and love being part of this district now as a teacher! I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts and Literature from St. Cloud State University. Aside from reading books, some of my favorite hobbies include biking, running, and swimming, so my summers usually include a few races.
I also spend time with many of our students coaching Cross-Country Running in the Fall and Track in the Spring. Coaching is one of the most rewarding parts of working with middle schoolers!
