My name is
Mr. John David Wrobel and I have been teaching
life science 7 at Roosevelt Middle School since the start of my teaching career. This year I am also teaching
Advanced Science 6! I have a degree in natural science from St. John's University. In addition, I have Masters' degrees in science education from Bethel University and another in business from the Carlson school of Business at University of Minnesota.
My spouse, Gretchen and I have three adult children. My son, Alex is an operations director for a group of 3 schools in Memphis and his wife, GretchenChristine teaches reading out to fhe library in a Montessori elementary school.. Luke, my oldest grandson, will be turning 4 years old in December and my second grandson will be two year old before Thanksgiving this year. He is one of the few very outgoing members of my family (along with his mother)! My daughter, Kathryn completed her second year of medical school in Chicago at Rush University and this gap year she doing research at NIH National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. My spouse, GretchenElise is a full professor of psychology at Bethel University Arden Hills, MN.
I have many hobbies and interests, including traveling, playing and watching sports, reading, biking and walking my daughter's dog Leo, but my most cherished moments are those that I spend with my family!
