Welcome to Mrs. Griffin's Website!
Hi! I am excited to be teaching 7th grade math at Roosevelt. It's my 12th year at Roosevelt and my 16th year teaching in the district. Prior to working at RMS, I worked at Jackson Middle School and Dayton Elementary. I went to college at Saint Cloud State University and got my Masters through Saint Mary's University.
I currently live in Saint Paul, and have identical twin boys who are three and one-half years old! They are great and are doing their toddler duty of keeping my husband and I chasing them around the house/yard/park! We also have an adorable dog named Kirby. We have no idea what type of dog he is, but he has a lot of love to give! My husband and I love taking him for walks and playing fetch with him. We also love going to WILD games and enjoy all the activities that living in downtown Saint Paul offers.
In addition to teaching, I have coached gymnastics and dance for ten years. I love the sport, and participated in high school gymnastics while going to school at Irondale. I also like to rollerblade, grill, grow veggies, and make salsa. I also LOVE to travel!
I also run the school's Math League. This is a super fun group for students to show off their smarts while competing against other kids as a team.
