Welcome to 1EV
Hi, I’m Megan Eveland. This is my 13th year teaching and my 11th year in the Anoka-Hennepin District. I graduated from UMD in 2001 and received my Masters of Education from St. Mary’s University in 2008. When I first started teaching I taught all-day everyday kindergarten in the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage District for two years. Then I moved up this way and taught 1st and 2nd grade for six years at Oxbow Creek before taking a leave to be with my young children. Now that I’m teaching again I feel so fortunate to be part of the Dayton community!
My husband, Dan, and I have two boys who keep us busy. Our 10 year-old, William, is in 4th grade this fall, and our 7 year-old, Ryan is in 1st grade. We love being outdoors as a family, especially at the family cabins in Wisconsin. We also enjoy playing cars, legos and riding bikes. My favorite outing with the boys is a trip to the library. I LOVE to read! I also enjoy shopping and going out to coffee with friends.
I’m looking forward to a great year! Please contact me if you ever have any questions or concerns.
