    Welcome to my 7th Grade Advanced Life Science and 8th Grade Earth Science Classroom Website
     
    I am excited to be teaching at Roosevelt Middle School.  This is my 8th year in the district and 6th year at Roosevelt Middle School. I will be teaching 7th Grade Advanced Life Science and 8th Grade Earth Science.   This year I will be splitting my time between RMS and Coon Rapids Middle School.  I grew up in Connecticut and graduated from high school there in 1991, earned a degree in Marine Biology from Boston University in 1995.  I moved to Minnesota in 1995 and earned my Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 1998.  I was a practicing chiropractor in the Twin Cities for 13 years before pursuing my true passion, teaching.  I received my teaching education at Bemidji State University and actually did my student teaching at Roosevelt Middle School.  I am married to my wife, Heather, who I met in Boston, and we have 2 daughters age 16 and 12.
