• Welcome!  I am so excited to be your child's Talent Development Teacher this year.  Please don't hesitate to email me with any questions you may have.

About Ms. G. --the TD teacher.....
I attended and graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato in March of 1992 and received my Master's Degree from St. Mary's University in 2001.

My career started in 1992 as an Independent Learning Development Aide in the Bloomington, MN public schools.  I moved to Joplin, Missouri in the summer of 1994 and accepted a fourth grade teaching position.

After three years in Joplin, I moved back to Minnesota to be closer to family.  I was lucky to land another fourth grade position--this time at Franklin Elementary in Anoka.  I worked there for three years.

When Rum River Elementary School opened in 2001, I was offered a fourth grade position.  It was so exciting to be able to open a building for the first time ever!  I worked at Rum River for two years.  In the fall of 2003, I came across the opportunity to work solely with talented students. I helped start up the Anoka Hennepin School District's Talent Development program and have worked as a Talent Development teacher ever since then.  I have taught in 14 elementary schools in the Anoka-Hennepin School District, but am presently happy traveling between just three of them--Jefferson, Johnsville, and Morris Bye.
