    Welcome to Anoka Middle School for the Arts Dance Program and the 2017-18 school year!
     
     
    Anoka Middle School for the Arts offers three levels of dance to students in 6th through 8th grade.  Dance I is an every other day elective that is offered to 6th-8th grade students at both the Washington and Fred Moore Campus.  Dance II is an every other day elective that is offered to 7th-8th grade students at the Fred Moore Campus.  Dance III is an everyday elective that is offered only to 8th grade students at the Fred Moore Campus. 
     
    Dance students are required to participate in two evening performances: one in January and one in May.  More information will be provided throughout the school year.  You can find these dates in your student's planner, and also on your teacher's website.
     
    Ms. Hill teaches Dance I at the Washington Campus this year.   For more specific information on Ms. Hill's dance classes, please click on her website below.
     
     
    Ms. Pennaz teaches Dance I, II and III at the Fred Moore Campus this year.

  • 2017-2018 Dance Concert Information

     
    Dance I and Dance III: Monday, January 30th @ 7:00pm
    Dance II and Dance III: Tuesday, January 31st @7pm
    Dance III students should ask Ms. Pennaz which night they are performing.
    All performances will be held in the auditorium at the Fred Moore Campus. 
     
    Dance I: Monday, May 7th @ 7:00pm
    Dance III : Tuesday, May 8th @ 7:00pm
    Dance II: Thursday, May 10th @ 7:00pm
    All performances will be held in the auditorium at the Fred Moore Campus.
     
    Some students MAY be asked to dance at Arts Fest on Thursday, May 17th from 5pm to 7pm
