My name is Julianne Haenel and I am so excited to be your child's special education teacher. I will be working hard to help him/her make significant academic and social progress in a safe, structured and positive environment. I believe this will be a great school year for all students.
This is my fifth year teaching special education at Andover Elementary. I also taught in the classroom as a first, third and fifth grade teacher for 11 years. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire with a degree in Special Education (emphasis in learning disabilities) and a degree in Elementary Education. I earned my Masters degree in Teaching and Learning and got my Autism Spectrum Disorder license through St. Mary's University of Minnesota. I love lifelong learning!
I have three children ages 11, 9 and 4. My oldest just started middle school at Oak View and my fourth grader attends Andover Elementary. We love being Coyotes! In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading and spending time at our cabin with family and friends.
Thank you for supporting your child and their education. I believe that is it important for me to work together with you to support your child's learning. If you have any questions or concerns at any time, please feel free to email or leave a voicemail and I will respond to you as soon as possible.
