• Hello, and welcome to our Classroom Website

My name is Lomumba Ismail and I am apart of the social studies department here at Anoka High School. My focus is on helping students reach their highest potential and developing character. I am currently in my fourth year teaching and have taught World History, Multicultural Perspectives and African American Studies as well as other electives. I also have the privilege of working with leadership groups in our building such as A.L.T and Men's group. I coach football and basketball and also help with Tornado Force strength and conditioning program. I have the unique experience of teaching at my alma mater (Class of '10). I am excited to be back at Anoka and to be apart of the Anoka family!

I invite you to look at the course info page, as well as the Google classroom site. In addition, the school's home page is where you can find information on upcoming events, and information regarding school closings and late starts. Finally, be sure to explore the contact page where you can find my information, as well as administrations.
