    Welcome to my ESL page.

My name is Kelly Kum. I have been teaching for 18 years, but this is my fourth year teaching ESL and my fourth year in the Anoka-Hennepin district. Previously I taught elementary and middle school Spanish for 14 years. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in 2000 with a double major in Elementary Education and Spanish. In 2005 I received my Additional License in Spanish from St. Thomas University, and in 2014 I received my Additional License in ESL from Hamline University. In the summer of 2018 I completed my Master's in ESL through Hamline University. I married my husband in 2013, and we have two and a half-year-old son. I enjoy reading, running, and spending time with family and friends.

Thank you for supporting your student's education! I am excited to work with your child and watch his/her growth. Together we can help your child achieve success!
