I am one of 4 special education teachers at Monroe Elementary
I have spent the last 12 years as a Special Education Teacher.
I have three teaching licenses: Elementary 1-6, Specific Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
I grew up in Wisconsin and graduated from UW-River Falls with a B.S. in Biology/Outdoor Education.
I earned my Elementary teacher's license while living in Texas for grades 1-6.
I completed my Masters in Special Education from the University of St. Thomas in 2008.
I am married and have two children. Sulley is a second grader and Avery is an eight grader.
They both attend the Robbinsdale FAIR Art Magnet Schools.
I have two dogs that were rescued from the Golden Valley Humane Society named Nala and Spot.
I enjoy gardening, camping, reading, traveling, movies and spending time with family and friends.
