SUN Bucks program available for free/reduced-eligible students
(06/04/2025) The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced the SUN Bucks program. This income-based food support program provides families $120 per eligible school-aged child to buy groceries when school is out for the summer.

It's more than just free meals! Apply for educational benefits for the 2024-25 school year
(07/26/2024) All Anoka-Hennepin families are encouraged to apply for the educational benefits program for the 2024-25 school year. A new application must be submitted each school year. The enrollment window for the 2024-25 school year begins Aug. 1, 2024.

Weather conditions impact schedules for Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025, afternoon transportation schedules modified
(12/09/2025) Due to predicted weather and road conditions impacting travel throughout the afternoon and early evening hours, the district is modifying afternoon schedules for the safety of students and staff.

View report cards online
(12/08/2025) Watch for communication from your student's school, which will notify families when the report cards are available for families to view. Parents, guardians and any person with educational rights to a student will be able to access the student’s report card online.

New Year - New Job! Learn about working in Anoka-Hennepin Schools at district hiring event Jan. 13

My Vision of Kindness: winners of annual kindness poster contest announced
(11/05/2025) As a part of October’s National Bullying Prevention campaign, Anoka-Hennepin held its 22nd annual kindness poster contest. This year’s theme was My Vision of Kindness. Students were encouraged to create a poster with that message in mind, and they delivered a variety of themes to spread kindness in their schools.
