Welcome to our Classroom Website
- I have been working with students in the Anoka Hennepin School District since January of 2004. I have been at Andover High School since 2010 teaching English and Creative Writing.
- I graduated with honors from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts and Literature. I went on to receive a licensure in Creative Design from the University of Minnesota and a Master’s degree from Concordia University in Educational Leadership.
- My home life is as active as my classroom personality. I have an eight year old little girl (Maggie) who keeps my husband (Grant) and I very busy. To top my family off, I also have a Miniature American Shepard and a German Shepard. I spend my days outside as much as possible. I love playing volleyball, going to the lake, and reading.
- My overall goal in education is twofold. I want students to enjoy their education and to realize how much fun learning can be, but more importantly I want to help kids be successful at Andover High School and their future college/career path.
