    Welcome to Ms. Meis's classroom Website!
     
    I started school at St. Cloud State University knowing I wanted to be a teacher but started as an elementary major.  I worked my way through college at a group home for adult males with Developmental Disabilities and shortly after starting that job, switched my major to special education with a license in Developmental Cognitive Disabilities.  After graduating in 2007 I got my first job as a long term substitute in the Anoka Hennepin school district. The following year I started at Champlin Park High School and have been here ever since.  In 2012 I went back to school and received my Masters of Education in Teaching and Learning from St. Mary's University.
