Northdale Middle School

Welcome parents and students! 

My name is Rim (pronounced “Reem”) Felegy.  I have been teaching in the Anoka-Hennepin School District since 2001, and have been at Northdale Middle School since 2002.  I graduated from Winona State University in 2001 with majors in Elementary Education and Special Education- Specific Learning Disabilities.  In 2009, I earned my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Reading Specialist Certificate.  I have also completed graduate level coursework in the area of Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities through the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities.   I generally teach Essential English Language Arts (reading and writing)  and Essential English (writing) classes.

My husband and I have one son who keeps us on our toes and makes us laugh daily!  I am passionate about reading and sharing my love of books with others.  I hope to instill that love of books in my son, as well as with the students in my class.
