    Ms Partin-Olson (You can call her Ms Partin), teaches band at Northdale Middle School.  She has been teaching band in Minnesota for fifteen years in grades 5-12 and this is her sixth year at Northdale.  She graduated from St. Olaf College in 2004 and she attended St Thomas University in St Paul where she earned has a Master's in Music Education with a special focus on teaching world music in band.  Ms Partin joined band as a fourth grader and has been passionate about it ever since.  She lives in Crystal with her 4 year old twin sons, her husband, and her adorable cat, Puca.  In her spare time, Ms Partin likes to perform with the Plymouth City Band, compose music for middle school bands, read, scrapbook, make jewelry, and take the cat for walks (yes, on a leash).
